The Board of PLHIV Representatives and its dedicated Executive Committee are the Governance of MPG accountable for overall leadership and representation, guiding with strategic direction, approving organizational policies and guidelines, advocacy and communicating to stakeholders and donors.
The Executive Committee provides day-to-day oversight of program implementations through direct supervision to Senior Management Team and frontline program staff for ensuring program performance, quality, effectiveness and relationship management and collaboration with various key stakeholders.
MPG envisions the building of an equitable, humanitarian-minded and self-reliant society for the KP, PLHIV and affected communities and the people in Myanmar.
The core mission of MPG is leading by example, representing the voices (needs) of the people through meaningful involvement, networking and collaborations with all relevant agencies, organizations and stakeholders in all activities beneficial for the health of the people.
Since January 2018, MPG has been awarded as Sub-Recipient of the Global Fund through Save the Children. MPG now has over three hundred staff with (12) field offices and (6) KP friendly clinic and centers across the country and its Secretariat and Head offices in Yangon.
In addition to the core Network Strengthening function since our foundation more than eighteen years ago, MPG now also serves KP, PLHIV and affected communities in Myanmar with Community-led service delivery as well as Advocacy for structural changes including:
The PSM related capacity of MPG is also strengthened with the support of SC-PR PSM team as well as regular monitoring and feedback by LFA to ensure efficient and systematic storage and delivery of health products to project township across Myanmar.
MPG recruits and maintains competent peer community members among KP and PLHIV community networks as well as identify and recruit strong programming and technical experienced professional candidate resources with strong passion and working with UN and INGOs to support community-led program implementations.
